Machine Vision, an application of computer sensors to automate time consuming tasks, has shifted industrial processes by exponentially increasing efficiency and effectiveness. Over the past decade the medical field and machine vision technology have made great strides to evolve medical laboratory and diagnostic practices. JADAK continues to address the growing demand for medical machine vision devices by applying unique optimization and customization and providing the highest quality solutions that continue to improve patient outcomes while reducing overall costs. This paper addresses optimization concerns for embedded machine vision devices for medical applications, and JADAK’s suggested approach to achieve greater speed by an order of magnitude, in some cases.
